The Secret Salon Supper: An Evening of Harvest, Story, and Ancestral Alignment

An intimate evening of local harvest, shared lineage, and storytelling across the threshold.

There is a distinct kind of magic that happens when strangers and neighbors sit down at the same table, wrapped in candlelight, deeply nourishing food, and shared curiosity.

As the other half of a formerly award-winning local catering duo, I am thrilled to welcome the community into my self-designed and deeply artisan-crafted cozy home. On the eve of the thinning veil—under the amber glow of autumn—we are gathering for an intimate, blind-date style supper club. You won't know who is seated to your left or right until you arrive, adding a spark of delightful suspense and effortless conversation to the night. (Couples are, of course, warmly welcome to sign up together for a unique, soul-warming date-night experience!)

This is an invitation to engage all your senses in an evening unlike anything you’ve ever experienced. Crafted entirely from scratch using local Vermont ingredients, every element of the meal is designed to be cozy, uplifted, and elegant. Woven into our time together will be acoustic resonance, collective storytelling, and a dedicated space to invite our ancestors to pull up a chair and dine with us on this sacred threshold night.

The Menu

  • New England Squash Soup: A warming, creamy, gluten-free and dairy-free ginger-laced home-grown squash soup to awaken the palate.

  • Harvest-Grown Quinoa (GF): Fluffy, steamed quinoa tossed in savory herbs, crowned with tender local carrots and green beans.

  • Moroccan Spiced Slow-Roasted Pasture-Raised Chicken: Locally sourced chicken roasted slowly until it melts off the bone in rich, savory juices. (Please indicate if you will be enjoying meat or vegetarian).

  • Persian Spiced Hearty Roasted Vegetable & Chickpea Centerpiece: A robust, comforting vegetarian and gluten-free seasonal stew over quinoa.

  • Mahalabiya: A luxurious, North African style rich coconut-based pudding sweetened gently with local maple syrup and fragrant orange blossom water.

The Rhythm of the Evening

More than just a meal, this is a living salon. Alongside a multi-course feast crafted from scratch, we will weave a rich tapestry of story and memory—inviting everyone to share stories of their ancestors on a night when the veil is very thin. We will also anchor the evening with brief, quiet contemplative moments at both the opening and the closing to truly land in the present moment and savor the community around us.

Your $50 investment covers all curation, locally sourced organic ingredients, and the dedicated time required to lovingly prepare this evocative, multi-course experience as a solo host.

Are you ready to discover who is sitting across from you, and who is standing quietly at your shoulder?
